A broad niche has more competition and in addition will require you to be creative in coming up with a unique approach.

How Unique Can You Be

We see this uniqueness everyday on YouTube or Tic Toc. People come up with many different and new ways of being creative. In addition the more unique the better. Furthermore this is not to say you can’t do the same thing that somebody else is already doing. It will be just a lot harder to get noticed.

Get Your Website Set Up

This and step four are closely related since you will want to populate your website with content. Content is basically anything on your site.

The first step in getting your business online is to register a domain name. In addition you will need to secure web hosting. Working with WordPress is so easy now. In addition, once you have your site set up there are many tutorials on how to build your own site. Moreover most people can do this. Further more you do not need any technical skills.

Plan Your Site

Sit down with pencil and paper. Map out your website. Furthermore map out what information you to offer and in what order. Moreover this will save you a lot of time when you sit down to build your site. Visit other sites in your niche. See what they are doing. Then, do it better.

STEP 5

Apply The Best SEO Practices

SEO has changed a lot in the last few years. In addition there is a specific SEO formula you can follow for each and every page you make. Once you do it once you just repeat it for each page.

Once you have your site built, you can download a SEO plugin. We use Yoast SEO. In addition the plugin will tell you if your site is SEO friendly to Google. If not you can edit your content for better SEO.

In the WordPress dashboard you will see a “Plugin” link. Click on this and then “Add New”. Type in Yoast SEO and then “Install”, then “Activate”. This will install the plugin. In addition on each page at the bottom you will see where you can fill in the “Keyword”, “Page Title” and “Description” details.

STEP 6

Find Products and/or Services

You may already have a product or service in mind for your business. You want to find products and services that match your niche. In addition we have a resource of hundreds of learning products. You can use these to learn more or something new. Furthermore you can use them to sell as well.
